If x > 3 what will be the value of (x - 6√x + 9)/ (√x-3)?

(1) √x

(2) 3√x

(3) √x+3

(4) √x-3

(5) x+√x

The answer is choice 4, sqrt(x) - 3.

This is solved by substituting y = sqrt (X) initially, which gets rid of the denominator.
