If 35 % of x equals 14% of y and x*y ≠ 0, then what percent of y is x?

(1) 15%
(2) 20%
(3) 25%
(4) 35%
(5) 40%

The answer is 5, 40%.

0.35 x = 0.14 y
=> x = (2/5) *100 % of y.
