Three persons individually can perform a particular job in 5, 6 and 7 hours respectively.What is the maximum part of the job that can be executed in one hour by two persons working together?

(1) 11/30
(2) 12/42
(3) 12/35
(4) 11/35
(5) 13/42

Choice 1: 11/30

In the end, what matters is the greatest figure of 11/30, 12/35 and 13/42.

By looking it, we can clearly state that

11/30 is 1/2.X

12/35 is Approx. 1/3

13/42 is approx. 1/3.X

This implies that 1/2.X is the greatest part and thus answer is choice 1.
