When a train crosses the lady, the distance covered by the train is the length of the train.
When the train crosses the platform on which the lady is standing, the distance traveled by the train is the sum of the lengths of the train and the platform.
You can then use the relation that Distance traveled = speed * time and find the answer.
Please ensure that you use the correct units for speed, time and distance. |
